In Front Of The Arches
Well the last 13 days have been crazy. After stopping in Turtle Bay, Bahia Santa Maria, and finally Cabo San Lucas we are done with the Ha-Ha , finally. I have to say I am really happy about this, because that whole thing was so fast paced and it is nice just to take it slow now. It was a fun time but I want to start the real cruising. We are going to continue to head south and stop in Muertos, then make our way up to La Paz for the rest of November and part of December.
First catch of the trip!!
In Bahia Santa Maria
Partying at Squid Roe in Cabo
This is how we learn Espanol, no joke
Things we learned we need to learn or get better at :
- Spanish. This is a definite biggy. We realized the second we got to Turtle Bay that we knew a lot less than we thought, but we are learning, slowly but surely!
- Landing dinghy’s on the beach. This was a new experience for us, and our first 5 landings ended with us getting caught in the waves , getting thrown into the water, and flooding the dinghy (and breaking one of my cameras).
- Catching tuna. The durato seem to overpopulate the waters, and as good as that is , it gets old after a while. A little variety is nice sometimes.
